Questioning

These are great posters by Amy Lemon's to use in your classroom. Students should always be asking questions before, during, and after reading as well as making connections throughout the story. I like these posters because they are bold and bright! You can get this FREEBIE from Amy's blog HERE

Too Much Sugar! Christmas Time

Here is some footage of my kids singing Feliz Navidad in the hallway. Too much sugar? I think so! They played this song on the intercom at the end of the day and all the kids from all grade levels came out in the hallway and started dancing. It was a lot of fun. My school is awesome!!

We made sandwiches in different shapes using a cookie cutter. Super fun!!

Halloween Treats

Here we are all dressed up! I was Angelina Ballerina. I had a student take the picture using my iPhone, that's why it came out all blurry. Haha!
Here is a treat I got off of pinterest. It's just a chocolate covered graham cookie, (not sure what they exactly were but they were the circular ones) vanilla icing with orange dye, and a hershey kiss on top! Easy Peasy! Click here for the link.

Here are some neat frankenstein's I made too! It's super easy. Just vanilla pudding with green dye, and crushed oreos on the top. Click here for the link.

These owls turned out so cute! Click here for the link.

BlueBirds!

I coach our dance and cheer squad. Here's a picture of our girls doing stunts. Not bad for 10 years old!!

Main Idea

We made these hands while learning about main idea. They turned out really cute! They write the main idea or topic in the palm of their hand and the supporting details on the fingers.

Here is a game I made that is not on TpT. If you'd like a copy leave your email and I'll send it to you.

I also bought this main idea pack to help. It's only $1.50 and you get a poster on main idea, a game, and a cute song to help the kids remember what main idea is. Super cute! You can pick this up at Courtney's TpT store here.

Multiplication Mushrooms and Other Fun Things!

We made these cute mushrooms while learning about multiplication. The kids loved making them and they really understand multiplication well now.

This is a multiplication game I made. It helps the kids understand what multplication really is and what arrays are. You laminate the cards and your students can write the answers on the cards! Very fun and engaging. You can pick this up at my TpT store here.

I also bought this unit from Amy Lemon's TpT store. This unit is AMAZING! This is where I got the mushrooms and other fun ideas. I really recommend this unit. You can pick this unit up here.

Tooty Ta Brain Break!

Here are my sweet kids enjoying a brain break. They are so silly! If you don't have the Dr. Jean CD's you should get them. They have fun songs and brain breaks on there. Our favorites are Tooty Ta and Alphabet Aerobics.
