You can pick this up at my TpT store.
I also came up with a really fun game for my students to further understand multiplication. It's super cute! It's an Alice in Wonderland theme. This allows the kids to understand what multiplication really means. I feel like we didn't spend enough time discussing arrays, so I'm hoping this will help them grasp it a little more.
You can pick this game up here.

My students are starting to struggle with main idea. This is just a concept that is hard for children to understand. When I taught 3rd grade, my kids struggled with this. I'm hoping to get my second graders to really understand how to find the main idea of a given text now, so they don't struggle so much in 3rd.
This game is not on TpT, so if you'd like this game, just leave me a comment with your email address and I'll send it to you!

We have decided to work on making connections this upcoming week. I have noticed my kids making connections, but not "meaningful" connections. It this game, they get two mats, one says "Good" and the other says "Bad". They are to flip over cards and decide if what they read is a good connection or a bad connection and put it on the designated mat. After they've sorted all of the cards, they pick two bad connections and rewrite them on a handout making them into good connections.
This game is in black and white so it's easy to copy for your kiddos at school. You can pick up this game here.
This next game was made to help my students memorize their "Make Ten" basic facts. I've noticed a lot of my students are....yes, I hate to admit it, :( Using their fingers for facts of ten. This games is called Safari Make Ten and you can get this FREEBIE here.

THANKS!!!!
Absolutely! If there's anything else you'd like on here let me know, I can just send it to you. :) I have a few other things on main idea that aren't in here that I've got through others, would you like me to send you those too? It may help your kids out! Main idea is so hard for them to understand. Sometimes I even have a hard time finding the main idea of some passages! :)
